I think the subject of this e-mail says it all:

"What lies behind your eyes is more important than what lies in
front of them."

Does this mean anything to you?

For me it means that HOW I see things is more important than the
things I see.

In Hip-Hop there is plenty of talk about the horrors of the world.
Talking about the horrors can actually help people if you speak
about them from a place of reflection instead of brooding over them.

In other words, instead of complaining about all the bullshit in your
life on your songs, Share your journey with others in a way that they
can learn from it.

You're not really surprising anyone by letting them know that you have
problems, that's not really news. However if you share with someone
how you see things differently now because of those problems,
THAT'S WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS.
