Hey what's up, Inertia here. I'll do my best to answer any questions that you might have about your beat purchase. If you have any questions that aren't answered here, e-mail me at Inertia@MyPersonalProducer.com and I'll answer your question promptly. 1) So what exactly do I get for my $39.95? With your $39.95 purchase you get to instantly download the beat(s) of your choice, use it on any album, put it in stores, and sell up to 2,000 copies royalty-free (royalty-free means that you don't have to pay me ANY royalties whatsoever). This also includes selling the album or song online, You can sell up to 2,000 paid downloads all royalty-free. You can also use the beat for any broadcasts or performances (Radio, Live Show, etc.) all royalty free as well. This is called a Leasing Rights: Leasing rights - $39.95:
And that's what you get for your $39.95. 2) What if I want to sell more than 2,000 copies? If you would like to sell more than 2,000 copies then you will need to buy an Exclusive Rights. With the purchase of Exclusive Rights to a beat you can sell as many copies as you want. You will then have complete and total unlimited use forever. That the beat will no longer be sold to any one else. You can make an exclusive rights offer here. 3) Can I buy Exclusive Rights later on after I buy Leasing Rights first? Of Course. Matter of fact, the money that you spent on the Non-Exclusive Agreement will go toward the price of the Exclusive Agreement. For example let's say you spent: $39.95
Leasing Rights Then
the price of the Exclusive Rights will be, whatever we negotiate minus
$84.95. Make sense? 4) Wait, why would I buy Leasing Rights if Someone else can come and buy the same beat? I feel
where you are coming from. I actually felt the same way. What I found
is that there are 2 main reasons why Non-Exclusive Agreements work. One
is that the 2,000 copy limit that we impose creates fair play between
you and the next man. This limit discourages someone from distributing
a song with the beat nationwide or worldwide and keeps it to a more local
basis. I feel like once you move 2,000 units, you'll be in a position
to buy an Exclusive Agreement. Additionally, I generally do not sell a
beat to multiple clients in the same city. There have also been studies
done that show that '2000' is the optimum number to reduce chances of
two songs clashing on the same beat. 5) What will happen if someone buys the Exclusive Rights to a beat that I have already bought Leasing Rights for? Nothing. The terms of your agreement are still completely intact. 6) Can I Buy a Non-Exclusive Agreement for use in Soundtracks, TV, Video Game or Film? Sure, all the the rights you have are still the same. If you sell any product with the beat on it, you are limited to sell 2,000 units of that product. You have unlimited broadcast use though, such as for TV. If you want to sell more than 2,000 units of whatever product your using the beat on, you will need to purchase Exclusive Rights. You can make an exclusive rights offer here. 7) How long will to take for me to get my beats after I buy? You will be able to download your beats instantly after your payment clears through Paypal. If you pay with Credit Card or Paypal funds, then your payment will clear instantly and you'll be able to download your beats instantly. Cool? 8) I can't see anything? Where are the beats? If you do not see the PlayerCart, you might need to update your flash player... You can download the newest version of flash here. I hope that answers your questions, if it didn't, just e-mail me your question and I'll hit you back A.S.A.P. Alright, talk to you soon.
